My Glam

I'm sure everyone knows that Christmas in coming up soon
I'm spending most of my time in the mall, noting gifts I can get for my family and friends or a gift I can treat myself to.
Well I have one gift idea for you guys and that's

 www.myglam.com

My Glam is founded by Michelle Phan and I bet almost all you youtubers would know her. There are 5 stylists in My Glam, all which are popular youtube beauty gurus.
Anyway, the gift I meant was to subscribe to a glam bag (monthly/yearly)
The gorgeous glam bag has full-sized or sample-sized branded beauty products in it. They will also personalize your glam bag so that you will love the products you receive. They'll personalized it according to your quiz, so answer some questions and get a glam bag.

Also, you can upload videos of you using the products with your own techniques and tips. You can share your thoughts and reviews on the beauty products too. The stylists will also be around to answer any questions you might have.
Once I heard about this I was all out to pay $10 for the glam bag and be a member for free but the glam bag only does shipping which is free throughout the U.S and I don't live there so that was sad but I still joined the community.
I wished they would make the glam bag international because I don't mind paying for the shipping but since it isn't I really suggest joining the community and subscribing for the glam bag if you are in the U.S.

Thistle

I started so well with my blogging, sorry I slacked.
Well an update on my life, I went to Port Dickson which is a 2 hour drive from where I live. We went there for the weekend cause my house was being used for some kind of commercial and they didn't want any disturbance.
That was a little sad cause these film people always cater good food and if you hang around long enough, you will be offered some food.
The last time, they shot a ZIP commercial at our house and after shooting they gave us a WHOLE box of ZIP CHOCOLATE BARS in every flavour.

It was like a dream come true, at least at the time but now I am so sick of it I haven't eaten that chocolate bar in a year.
Anyway we stayed at Thistle hotel, we used to head there all the time for a break but now we'll be lucky to even go there once a year.

Also we went to a fair there on the first night, now that was the best outcome of the trip. My dad spent like 80 bucks there because well when you start playing the booth games you don't want to stop, they are that addictive. My siblings and I only won a few small but nice stuff and when we showed my dad all the gifts we won, he said he could probably buy all of them and more for less than 30 bucks which is true but where is the fun in that.

I actually won a little cute bear at this dart booth but somehow I lost it(someone stole it). One minute it was right there on the table-top and the next it was gone. I only turned my back on it to play one of the booth games. At least I got Pooh Bear from it all.

DIY: Polka Dot Nails

I finally get to paint my nails, I've been waiting for so long to try out the polka dot nail design.
I  haven't painted my nails in AGES. If you want to know why, my school has this silly rule that no student can wear nail polish to school.
Silly, right? What do they think we are going to do? Blind the other students with our bright colourful nails.
They need to get a little more creative when they make rules.
Anyway, school ended yesterday so there is no one to stop me.
I went out with my friends the other day and we stopped by Elianto.
I needed to refresh my nail polish supply as I was running out of white.
I got that and another polish in Neon Purple.
I thought bought looked gorgeous together so I did the polka dot nails for myself using these three polishes.

It's pretty simple;
1. Apply your base coat to protect your nails from being stained
2. Apply your first colour
3. Using a nail dotting tool make your polka dots with your second colour    randomly on your nail
4. Apply your top coat for that pretty shine
5. Admire your result

Told you it was simple. Also if you are like me and don't have a nail dotting tool, here are some easy objects around your house to act like a nail dotting tool.

1) Bobby pin

2) Straight pin

3) Ballpoint pen. Preferably one without ink. One with ink works too but you won't be able to use it to write anymore

4) Toothpicks. If you have these kinds, use the back. If you have the pointed one on both sides, still works, smaller dot.

There are so many more things but these are a few. I didn't use any of these thing, I actually used the unused eraser on the top of a mechanical pencil. Hope you like this little nail tutorial.

p.s. excuse the pictures, my blogs last name
