Body Shop Lip Balm

Hey! My super sweet aunt who I simply adore surprised me the other day when I was visiting.
She gave me a Body Shop Lip Balm!
Okay, okaay. I get it, why the big fuss but I kinda freaked out cause this is my first item from there. I always loved Body Shop, my wishlist there grows all the time but unfortunately it's a very pricey wishlist. My aunt who is a member got it as a free gift as one of their promotions.
The lip balm don't get me wrong is amazing but I can't really see myself spending RM22 for it. It's a kinda deep red but quite sheer so it isn't too dramatic. It smells like a heaven, well a heaven full of cranberries. I like that the smell isn't over-powering and it's lasting ability is pretty good.
It is quickly becoming my favourite of all the lip balms I have.
I guess Body Shop has the right to be expensive cause' their products are great quality and like everything there, it smells divine. It helps that all their products are Eco-friendly too.
All I have to say is if Body Shop is having a mega sale anytime soon you'll be sure to find me there.

Update #3

Hi guys, I have test coming up in August which I'm so bummed about cause my last exam felt like it had just passed. I could have done another month without studying. As if thats not enough my piano exam is at the end of July and I am not ready. Im am horribly scared of my scales and side reading (kudos if you dont play but know what I mean)
Good news is my school is having a kinda-sorta carnival thing on Saturday so that should be fun. The unfair sad part is my school gets 50% of out profit so my teacher told us to charge based on getting 150% profits so we at least get 100% if that makes sense to you.
I feel like I am calling the kettle black, I know in my last post I said I dont like picture-less posts (it's not that I dont like it I just rather pictures) and this is my second one. Sorry my computer is having a little problem connecting to our wifi and I really wanted to blog so here I am blogging on my mum's tablet.
Okay late dinner time for me so see ya
P.s. I think I might be getting a cold

Update #2

Hey guys, I feel the need to explain so here it is.
I love blogging but sometimes (don't laugh) I have no clue what to post. So i have decided I will just post, anything and everything that interests me will be on this blog. Okay maybe not everything but you get what I mean. Whats going on with my life, some hauls, reviews, picture posts, all sorts of things stuffed in this little blog. So there, one problem solved.
Next up, okay this is probably just me and it's very kinda weird. I don't really like doing posts that has no pictures. Not sure why, maybe I like pictures. I don't mind pictureless-posts every once in a while but most of the time pictures are nice. Thing is, my family has a pretty decent camera that we share. So it's pretty annoying cause the camera has a billion pictures in it that everyone takes but never bothers to transfer them out (myself included). This means if I take a picture planning to blog with it, someone else (I never know who) will delete it for their own pictures. This is very very very frustrating. I wish I had my own camera but I don't think my dad's gonna get me one anytime soon. I had one that got stolen along with a whole bunch of other things but that's a long story. My parents got me another one, it's no DSLR but it's a pretty good one overall. The problem with this camera is that it runs on batteries. This means that it dies extremely fast which is also a very frustrating thing.
Next problem, unsolved.
I don't have a laptop. This is so annoying because I have to share the family computer with my brother and sister. Meaning it's battle of the siblings every day for computer rights. This is super tiring and did I mention annoying. Every other 14 year old I know has one even the ones I don't know. My parents bought me and my sister an iPad for Christmas last year (my dad lost mine and has yet to replace it). I don't get why to them it's okay to have an iPad but not a laptop. Is there a huge difference?
Third problem, will probably remain unsolved until I reached the mature age of 18.

Pretty heels

A few days ago when my mum, sister and I were in the mall we happen to come across a shoe sale. So we each picked up a pair. I got these pretties for myself. I am not too sure but I think they are a cross between platforms and wedges so Pledges it is. They are from Sembonia which is actually a pretty pricey brand so when I saw that these were discounted I couldn't pass them up. There wasn't much difference from the original price to the sale price, say about RM30. I think they're super cute. At first glance you definitely think that they're for a night out but I think the weaving pattern tones them down a little so they are pretty versatile.
So i'm back to blogging and I will try to keep it to a daily weekly basis.

Universal Studios

Hey, so last week was my sister's birthday and my mum took me and my siblings to Singapore. My dad wasn't able to make it because he had a lot of work to do. Anyway, we flew over for three days and as expected, it was AMAZING.

We set out pretty early because we wanted to be ahead of the crowd. My mum has already bought our tickets online some we just purchased our Express pass. I really think it's worth getting the express pass especially if you are on a short trip, Universal is a popular place. Tons of locals and foreigners come and since we came when it is at peak, the place was packed. Express can only be used once for each ride though.

The first ride we went on was Battlestar Galactica. My brother was ecstatic because he passed the height limit and could ride on it. There are two rollercoasters; Human the red one and Cyclon the blue one. It's pretty cool, you have to walk through a pretty gruesome tunnel. I like Cyclon better just because I think it twist and turns more. Saying that it was a bit of a bummer as both rides only last 20 second but is only a five minute wait.

By far, Revenge of the Mummy is my favourite ride. I went on it twice and it was awesome. When you walk in it is really cold and like the inside of a pyramid. The ride is just- all I have to say is sit at the front or right at the back for this ride. I kinda like the front because it is more frightening; it feels like you are alone in there.

Okay, we made the mistake of not going to this ride first and we had to wait an hour for it. We had this plan to line up for all the rides first and the second time use our express pass. Universal is big and you are lucky if you get to go on all the rides and attractions they have. There's so much to do and one day is not enough. Anyway Transformers is AH-MAAZING, the effects are just superb. It's like you are going into battle against the decepticons and you have to save the allspark from getting into their hands. In the end you save Optimus Prime and kill Megatron. There's this one bit where it's like your falling off this tall building and just as your going to crash Bumblebee saves you, that part was the best. Two tips for this ride; DON'T go when you've just eaten (the second time, i did that. I couldn't really enjoy it because I was busy trying to settle my stomach) and DO use your express pass for this ride or come early and go on this first.

Hollywood and New york has a lot of attractions. There's this one place I think in New york where you can see how the special effects in movies are achieved and in Hollywood you can get pictures with famous movie stars, for example Frankenstein, Betty Boob, Woody woodpecker, Marilyn Monroe and more. I really wanted a picture with Marilyn but the line is awfully long and she came out a little later when we were leaving. If you want a picture prepare to wait a while, I did get a picture with Betty boob though.

Our trip was amazing, it rained a little and well I got soaked (DO NOT go on the mummy ride when you're soaked, you will freeze). We got to watch the Waterworld show. Which was really good. In Far, far away, we saw Shrek in 4D, that was fun. And we got to see a street show, they were like awesome. They did cool stunts and dance moves.

We went to Madagascar too which wasn't that great to me. I got a few souvenirs and lots of pictures. I have to say that Universal Studios is definitely a trip to remember.

KONY 2012

Hey guys, this video is going viral. It's the KONY 2012 video, take a some time just to watch and understand what's going on.

Help spread the word about Joseph Kony, tell a friend, email it to someone or just share it on twitter, Facebook, or on your own blog. The children would be very grateful. Just think if it had happened to you, put yourself in their shoes for a minute. The next day after watching this, I noticed a flier in one of our classrooms about KONY 2012. I had an amazing feeling, I thought no one in school would be bothered by it but I was so so wrong. I told a few of my friends about it and they were so shocked and just plain sad. A friend of mine told me;

"Imagine if that was us, imagine running for our lives, always looking around our shoulders, never getting to just sit and relax like normal kids.Instead of discussing about the latest shops that opened or our favourite bands, we're planning our the next hide-out in an abandoned building and thinking of ways to get food. Never being able to sleep peacefully without being afraid of waking up to a gun aimed at your head"

The sad thing is I couldn't imagine it and I'm sure a lot of you can't too. We don't really know how it feels like because we've never been in that position. If you have then you'll understand why everybody deserves to feel safe.
