Hey guys! You might have noticed I've changed my blog name. Well I wasn't very happy with my old one and been playing around with names for a bit. I came up with this one in class. The teacher asked for a title to name our essays, I answered Honest Mistakes. She chose something else but whatever, at least I have a blog name now :) I've been thinking of changing for awhile and what better time to do it then now. It's the beginnng of the year. A new year full of changes. The layout on this blog will be changing here and there for a bit while I find something i'm happy with. I'm not to tech savvy so it may take some time. Just a little post to keep you updated. Btw I can't find my camera charger once again. This happens waaay too much and im so sorry. Im really really want to blog but without my camera its just not possible.

2013, please be nice to me

Hey everyone!
It's been a while since you've heard from me, eh? Since coming home from my long holiday, I've been moving non-stop. What with Christmas, my cousins visiting, birthdays, and obviously new years. I'm writing this just after a family lunch at my house which lasted quite a while.  And I feel quite exhausted actually (Doesn't help that school starts tomorrow).

Anyways, I'd thought I'd try to sum up 2012 for me.
2012 was the year I met my best friends. It's the year I finally realised what i've been missing out on for a while, true friendship. Not the kind that fizzles out after a while. I've finally learned to forget those who forgot you and move on to better things. The amount of laughs and jokes and drama we've been through is incredible. We always use to say "If laughing burned calories, we'd be sticks" or something like that.  We've only been friends for a year now but I'm sure there will be more to come.
2012 was the year of my first concert. The bestest (is that even a word) concert ever. The Wanted. Since then I've grown to love that band and become totally obsessed with them. I was also incredibly lucky to go to Maroon 5 too! One of my favourite childhood bands.
2012 was the year I visited America for the first time (OoooOoooOoooOooo....anyone else had that song play in their head) My most favourite holiday ever! I love California. And I hope that I'd be able to live there someday.
2012 was the year I started this blog! I think I created it end of 2011 and totally forgot about it. In 2012 I started posting and redesigning my blog. I love blogging I know i'm not consistent but i'm trying to change that. I want to learn how to schedule posts. I tried doing that during my hols but it didn't turn up so I need no mess around on blogger a bit more.
Some of the memorable things of my year. All in all 2012 wasn't my best year. But i'm not going to dwell on all that. A new year is a new beginning. The perfect time to make changes and be changes. Forget the past and relish the present.

Okay, time for resolutions!

  1. I need to change myself. Stop complaining, comparing, and being a pain. Be the person who you wish  others would be to you.
  2. I need to be more confident this year. And a lot less shy. Speak up. Don't just make scenarios up in my head. Make them happen.
  3. I need to get fit. I'm serious this time. Exercise at least once a week and cut back on all things yummy and unhealthy. No excuses.
  4. Focus. This year no more messing around. I've been given a wake up call. I need to change my ways. Study hard and focus on my goals.
  5. My room! Arghhh, redo-ing my room has been and extremely loooooong process. I am going to get it done excactly to my taste this year.
  6. PMR. It's a major exam all 15 year olds have to sit for. I need straight As for it so I get to go in Science stream. And to make my parents proud. (The world was suppose to end and make me forget about this)
  7. Oraganize myself. Make time for play and work.
  8. Blogging. I've only done a few posts now an then but I really want to change. I'll try to posts more often and be a better blogger.
So there! I'll get back to you guys next year to see how things have turned out.
Hope you all have a Happy New Year!!!

Yadah skincare

I'm currently in LA, will be back in three weeks. I'll reply to all comments, emails and messages as soon as I'm back. :)

Hey! Like you all know, my camera is problematic and is currently being serviced so there wasn't much chance for me to blog. So I got incredibly excited when I realised I could blog from my mum's Samsung Tab. The quality's not the best but a little editing helped. So here I am with a little review for you. A while ago, I won a online giveaway that Seventeen Magazine was having. I was soo excited since it was the first giveaway I had ever won. I literally couldn't believe it when I received and email saying I had won RM150 worth of Yadah products.
Yadah is a botanical skincare line specifically targeted at teenagers and young adults. It's a Korean brand that had just recently launched here.
First of all, how cute is that bag! All three products came in that little black glossy makeup/toiletry bag. And they all have super cute and sturdy pacakaging.
I received the Bubble Deep Cleanser, Moisturising Cactus Mist and the Handcream.

Bubble Deep Cleanser
This is probably the product I liked best. It is a gentle foaming facial cleanser that doesn't irratate my skin or sting my eyes. Eventhough the product says suitable for all skin types, I find it can be a little drying around my nose area. I read that foaming products rather than cream or gel tend to be a bit more drying so I think that's why. It leaves my skin refreshed and does not strip the natural oils of my face. It smells amazing, I couldn't place it at first just very fruity but know it reminds me of Mandarin oranges. Also I think it can last quite a bit because I only need half a pump to lather my entire face.

Moisturising Cactus Mist
The Mist I received was a little faulty. It comes in a spray bottle as you can see but the one I received had a problem with the spraying pump thing so I couldn't spray out the actual product. So I poured out a bit on a cotton pad and dab it lightly over my face. I don't think this method worked very well because I find that i put more than enough product on my face which cause my face to be slightly sticky. I think I'll get a little spray travel bottle from the drugstore and use it with that. On to the actual product, I feel this product is a great pick-me-up. It gives a little extra moisture to your face if it's dry and tired so it feels a lot more refreshed.

Handcream
This is probably the product I liked the least. Maybe just because I wasn't too fond of the scent, i can't explain the smell. It's a very nature scent (Sorry i'm horrible at this). Anyway, the product itself is creamy, thin consistency and it sinks fast into your skin. It does moisturize your hands and it supposedly has anti-aging properties. Nothing to great about this so I probably wouldn't repurchase.

I would probably only repurchase the cleanser but then it is pretty pricey for what it is and isn't that easy to find. Saying that, I'd like to try a some products from their makeup line, especially the Angel BB cream. I think Yadah is good skincare line especially for those with sensitive skin as the products are natural and don't aggravate your skin.

In-flight essentials

Sorry for the bad quality
I'm currenly in LA, will be back in three weeks. I'll reply to all comments, emails and messages as soon as I'm back :)

Hi everyone! So I thought I'd share with you some of my essentials for a long flight. As you guys know I'm off to LA and the journey will take around 21 hours. These are some things that I must have with me for such a long flight.

1) Toothbrush/Toothpaste/Mouthwash
This is kinda obvious isn't it. Needa keep those pearly whites clean. Haha. I'm taking minis in my hand luggage to clean my teeth.

2) Comb/Hair ties/Bobby pins
My hair can get really messy and tangly after a nap so i need a comb to straighten out all those knots in my hair. I also bring along hair ties or bobby pins if I want to keep my hair away from my face when I'm eating (or if i'm getting really annoyed with it) and maybe if I want to tie it up so it isn't too messy.

3) Handcream/Lotion
The recycled air in the plane can really dry out your skin especially after being in it for a long time. My hands and elbows especially will become dry and scaly so I bring along some lotion to return some moisture to them.

4) Facewash
Before touchdown, I like freshen up a bit. So I bring my current facewask in a mini bottle (that I stole from an hotel ages ago) to clean my face. This also really helps me get rid of the zombie complexion and make me look more awake. I then like to take a bit of the lotion and dab it on my face to moisturize.

5) Face wipes
If you don't really want to wash your face, this is a simple solution. These wipes easily cleanses your face and refreshes them. I like to use them not only before touchdown but during the flight if my face is feeling tired or dry. This is a great pick-me-up. A moisture mist is a good alternative too.

5) Lipbalm
I cannot go on any flight journey, long or short without this. My lips gets really dry easily especially in the plane so I always need a lipbalm with me at all times to prevent chapped lips. The one I'm currently using is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lipbalm. Seriously guys, this smells soo yummy. Like pure hot chocolate.

6) Headphones/iPod
How long can you go without music? I always bring my headphones to plug into my phone for a little Top 40 hits ;) I don't have an iPod but if you do, I think it's better to use that.
